Rules for wiring

Electroposting to be installed according to plan. The basis of this document, which subsequently makes your life easier, we put on two principles: electrical safety, and usability. What to consider when developing the plan: 1. Electric meters, splice boxes, sockets and switches should be located in accessible for maintenance and repair places, and live parts must be covered. 2. Switches located at the entrance to the room at a height of 1.5 m so that the open door does not block access to them. For convenience switches in the same apartment, as a rule, have in all areas with the same hand. 3. Outlet installed in the field involves the installation of electrical equipment at a height of 50-80 cm from the floor. According to fire regulations the number of outlets should be at least one for every full or incomplete 6 square meters of floor space, and the kitchen is not less than three. Install switches and outlets inside the toilets and bathrooms is prohibited. Exceptions are outlets for electric shavers and hair dryers fed through an isolation transformer with double insulation. The latter is mounted in a special unit outside these premises. It is also forbidden to set the socket closer than 50 cm from the grounded metal devices (tubes, pipes, sinks, gas and electric). Outlet on the wall separating the two rooms of one apartment, conveniently installed on each side of the wall, including them in parallel through a hole in the wall. 4. The wires are run only on the vertical and horizontal lines, and their location must be accurately known to avoid damage when drilling, nailing, etc. The horizontal strip is held at a distance of 50-100 mm from the eaves and beams, 150 mm from the ceiling and 150-200 mm from the plinth. Vertically laid plots of wires should be removed from the corners of rooms, window and door openings are not less than 100 mm. Necessary to ensure that the wire is not in contact with the metal building construction. Parallel strip near the pipeline with flammable substances (gas) is produced at a distance of not less than 400 mm. In the presence of hot pipes (heating and hot water) wiring must be protected from exposure to high temperature asbestos gasket, or you want to use wire with a protective coating. Forbidden to run wire bundles, as well as the distance between them is less than 3 mm. 5. In premises wiring connections and branches in all types of electrical wiring run in the connective and junction boxes. 6. Veins grounding and zero protective conductor are interconnected by welding. The addition of these agents to appliances, to be ground or vanishing, performed by bolts. Metal enclosures of electric stoves (stationary) vanish, which shield is laid on the flats a separate section of the conductor, equal to the cross section of phase wire, and attached to the zero protective conductor mains front of the counter. In semiconductors, providing protective earthing or neutral, there should be no fuses and circuit breakers. Otherwise, the protection is triggered, all equipment included in this line would be a dangerous potential for the network. These are the basic provisions that should draw when planning the wiring apartment. As you probably noticed, most of these rules apply to electrical safety. Indeed, when working with electricity not be expected at random and ignore them. Accuracy in the works will keep you in the future from many troubles.
