Electrical installations in hazardous areas (other than mines) 482 Fire protection 482.1 Terms of an emergency evacuation in case of emergency requirements of this standard must be met for electrical installations of buildings and structures in which the conditions of an emergency evacuation of people according to GOST R 50571.2 30331.2/GOST following: BD2 - Low population density, difficult evacuation conditions; BD3 - high density, light conditions for evacuation; BD4 - high population density, difficult conditions of the evacuation. Note - The assignment of the conditions of an emergency evacuation to the codes of BD may be regulated by the competent authority responsible for the construction of buildings and facilities for holding events and the prevention of fires (fires). 482.1.1 In buildings with the terms of the evacuation of BD2, BD3 and BD4 not recommended to put the wiring on escape routes people. However, if this is not possible, the wiring must be protected by shells or casings, preventing a fire or the spread of fire. Wiring on escape routes people should take the shortest possible site should not be located within reach of hand or must be protected from mechanical damage that may arise during the evacuation. 482.1.2 In the evacuation of BD3 and BD4 low-voltage complete devices (racks, panels, boards), protection devices and control, except for some devices, intended to ensure that the evacuation should be accessible only to authorized personnel. When placed in the aisles, they must be enclosed in boxes or wrappers of non-combustible material with a degree of protection of at least IP44 in accordance with GOST 14254. 482.1.3 In the evacuation of BD3, BD4, and on escape routes people may not use electrical equipment containing flammable liquids. Note - The capacitors in the equipment, this requirement does not apply (such as capacitors in lamps with gas-discharge lamps and capacitors for motor starter). 482.2 nature of processed or stored materials 482.2.1 rooms or areas in which to processing, manufacturing or storage of flammable substances and materials, including combustible dust, according to the code include fire BE2 30331.2/GOST GOST P 50571.2. Notes 1 The quantities of flammable substances and materials, area or volume of space for warehousing and storage should be established oversight bodies (Gosenergonadzor, a legally, Gosgortechnadsor, etc.). 2 Requirements for electrical installations in hazardous areas and areas related to the code VE3 30331.2/GOST GOST R 50571.2, established in GOST R 51330.13. In a fire risk BE2 code should be installed only electrical equipment which is necessary for these facilities, except for systems of internal wiring in accordance with 482.2.6. 482.2.2 In areas in which the enclosures of electrical equipment can accumulate combustible dust in sufficient quantities to create a fire risk conditions should take measures to avoid heating up to temperatures of enclosures of electrical equipment, causing self-ignition of dust. 482.2.3 Electrical equipment should be selected and installed so that the temperature rise under normal conditions and in fault conditions could cause a fire. This can be achieved by selecting the appropriate design of electrical equipment or installation conditions. 482.2.4 Complete protection devices, signaling and control must be placed outside the premises, the relevant code BE2, if the shell does not provide the degree of protection that meets such a premise, but it should not be below IP4X GOST 14254. 482.2.5 In all cases, except flush on the grounds of non-combustible, should take measures to prevent wiring to distribute burning. Wires and cables should be tested for flame retardance according to GOST R IEC 332-1, GOST R IEC 332-2 and GOST R IEC 332-3. 482.2.6 wiring system, crossing the room, but not essential to the operation of these facilities should be performed as follows: - In accordance with 482.2.5 - they should not have joints along the route of laying indoors, if these compounds are not placed in fire-resistant shell - they must be protected against overcurrent in accordance with 482.2.11. 482.2.7 in the supply of heating systems, air intake must be outside the areas containing combustible dust. The temperature of the exhaust air must not contribute to a fire in the room. 482.2.8 Electric motors, servo motors but with easy operation mode, equipped with automatic and remote control and are not under constant surveillance, should be protected from excessive temperature device that is sensitive to temperature. 482.2.9 Luminaires shall comply with the terms of the Facilities and to have a shell, provides a degree of protection of at least IP4X GOST 14254. Lamps and lighting elements shall be protected in areas where there may be mechanical damage, such as using solid glass hulls and metal grates. Safety devices should not be placed on a lamp holder, if it is not provided they are designed. 482.2.10 if necessary to limit the consequences arising from the possible occurrence of the fault current, the circuit should be protected by a protective device (such as circuit breakers according to GOST R 51326.1 and GOST R 51327.1), the nominal operating differential current does not exceed 0.5 A or controlled by a device that provides continuous monitoring of isolation and give a signal of danger in the breakdown of insulation. Uninsulated conductor insulation monitoring can serve as a protective conductor in the appropriate wiring circuit, if the electric system does not include a metallic sheath connected to the protective conductor. 482.2.11 Food Chains or chain, crossing the room with the terms of BE2, must be protected against overload and short circuit protective devices located in front of these premises. In addition to 482.2.12 411.1.3.7 30331.3/GOST GOST P 50571.3 in circuits with safety extra-low voltage live parts must: - either be enclosed in a shell, provides a degree of protection IP2X; - or have insulation capable of withstanding the test voltage of 500 V for 1 min regardless of the nominal circuit voltage. 482.2.13 not allowed to use the combined zero workers and protective conductors in areas with conditions BE2, except for circuits that cross these areas. 482.3 Flammability of building materials rooms in which flammable building materials used, refer to the code CA2 30331.2/GOST GOST R 50571.2, paragraph 323.1. 482.3.1 for electrical installations in buildings that meet code, CA2, should take precautions to ensure electrical equipment could not initiate inflammation of walls, floors and ceilings. 482.4 Capacity building structures to the spread of combustion Electrical premises in which building design can contribute to the spread of combustion, referred to the code CB2 30331.2/GOST GOST R 50571.2, paragraph 323.2. 482.4.1 In buildings that meet code, CB2, should take precautions to ensure electrical equipment and wiring are not contributing to the spread of combustion. NOTE - Can be used in the installation of automatic fire extinguishing and fire alarm devices for providing protective measures, such as the closure of fire dampers in ducts and conduits.
