The design of the drums shall be as specified in the drawing. Sizes of drums and the size of details included in the drum kit in disassembled form, shall be as specified in Table. 1. Drums must be made in accordance with the requirements of this Standard drawings approved in the prescribed manner. 2.2. For the manufacture of drums should be applied edged sawn softwood is not below the third grade, GOST 8486-86 and GOST 24454-80, to Drum № 5-18c inclusive - as soft hardwood not less than the 2 nd grade, GOST 2695-83, than birch. For a number of drums 14b-18c, inclusive, manufactured from timber of soft hardwood, GOST 2695-83, boards cheeks under axial hole must be made of softwood lumber in accordance with GOST 8486-86 and GOST 24454-80. Drums number 22 and above (except for drum number 30a) outer layer should be constructed of separate segments, located on the perimeter of the drum cheeks (see fig. 1 and Table 1. Mandatory annex 1). Each segment should be nailed not less than seven nails. The thickness of the segments should be at least 28 mm. 2.7. Nails, joining the board cheeks should be packed in concentric rows, whose number for different numbers of reels, including pribivku hip circle, must conform to those listed below. Nails up to 80 mm shall comply with the requirements of GOST 4034-63, and over 80 mm - GOST 4028-63. 2.10. On the inner sides of the cheeks should be nailed circles the neck, forming concentric circles to the right cheek.
